Fourth Cast....

Oscars foot has adapted really well to the cast positions, which are used to progressively change the position of the foot to a normal position. This is his last cast before he under goes a small surgical procedure to release the Achilles tendon on the back of his foot just above the heal. As his is over tight and is causing his foot to be less flexible than normal and making the foot sit in the wrong position. We are booked in for the procedure for next week, this cast will be on for one week, we are a little nervous about the procedure but you have to put your trust in the professionals and the years so research and development by Dr. Ponseti.
