Oscar has pretty much stopped waking himself up with his boots and bar hitting the bars of his cot since buying a grobag sleeping bag, there great they are FSID (the Foundation for the study of Infant Deaths) tested and come in 3 different Tog weights 0.5 for summer, 1 for most of the year were I live and 2.5 for really chilly nights. These grobags are usually £29.99 from mothercare and supermarkets but you can usually pick them up from TKM for a half price as they will be old season designs, but who cares what they look like its the function i'm after! Grobags also come with a free room temp card which lets you know what Tog sleeping bag you should be using according to the temp and the free guide lets you know what clothes your baby should be wearing according to the temp and which tog bag very handy and reassuring. We have also invested in a night light this one in the photo we picked up in France but they do now sell it on Amazon it's by a company called Bapapa which is a character from a famous French book called Barpapapa. This night light is so child friendly when you lightly press the bottom the shape glows and will glow for 11 hours before it needs charging and has a wireless docking station, Oscar likes to have this glowing every night with him in his cot.
