Excellent news!

After visiting the Ponseti clinic at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital in London we were given some excellent news that Oscar was now ready to wear his boots for only 14 hours a day, which means that he will mainly have his boots on at night when he sleeps, this has been reduced from 23 hours a day. We have decided to have his boots on form 7pm at night until 9am at the moment but this will change when i have to go back to work to slightly earlier. We are so happy for Oscar that he has a bit more freedom now and hopefully he will start to roll more freely.

We are due to go back to the clinic in 3 months time which will be in January, we also were given a new set of boots that were the next size up as his were getting a little too small with his toes almost over the edge! The bar has remained the same size as the shoulder width had not changed. I asked about what happens to the old pair of boots and I was very happy to hear that the boots would be donated to C Pro Direct who have a charity called Boot Bank that work very closely with Ponseti International Association and donate the boots and bars to children from developing countries around the world which is great.
