Movement...
Home. Basingstoke
12th February 2016
After over a month of Oscar being out of boots and bar at night, Oscars sleeping pattern has greatly improved and we are having much more sleep! Hooray. Oscar is very exited to be able to go to the loo at night (if he needs to) all by himself. I think he has been waiting for this for a very long time to be independent. We have been keeping up with his nightly exercise of heals, toes and hoping and making sure he has plenty of exercise running about. Although we have started to see a change in the shape of oscars foot. His foot is starting to curve back in, although subtle it has moved, which is worrying. I dropped an email to Chelsea and Westminster hospital to see what they recommend and sent a couple of photo. The said as the movement is so small at this point they would not need to see him, but will examine his foot in his usual appointment coming up in April. Slightly relieved, although still feel on the edge, we just hope his foot doesn't relapse and is in need of an operation. They did say when he comes out of his boots and bars at night there might be a small amount of movement in the foot. We will continue to monitor and hope that his foot doesn't curve in any further. He is such an active boy and loves the outdoors.
