Going home...

Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London.
14th December 2016

The next morning we where up early and Oscar was ready for breakfast and very hungry making up for not much food from the day before.

He is still in a lot of pain and on regular amounts of Morphine and paracetamol, but he was happy to be proper up and do some colouring and watch cbbies which is great.

We have had visits from the surgeon, doctors, psychotherapists and many nurses who are all very please with Oscars operation and post op progress and have said Oscar will be dismissed shortly, ready to go home.

We where given a walking frame to assist Oscar to the loo, which Oscar used like a pro, along with his wheel chair.

We then had an appointment with the plasterer who added a hard cast layer to Oscars already plastered leg. Oscar chose a very festive red with a sprinkle of gold glitter. And with that we where given morphine and dismissed. Time to go home.
