Pre op cast...

Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London.

Today we went up to London for Oscar to have his pre op cast put on. This is to ensure his foot is in the right position for his operation on the 13th of December.

The casting went really well and Oscar was at ease with the familiar faces at Chelsea and Westminster and was very please with his Snowman cast.

We have been given a wheel chair, they tend to give small children wheel chairs over crutches for safety reasons. Less accidents I guess. This cast is a walking cast, but we do have to wait till tomorrow before Oscar is allowed to walk on his foot. We have been given a little velcro boot that attaches round the foot to cushion walking.
