Check up...

Chelsea & Westminster Hospital, London.
6th March 2017

We had our first check up after having Oscars cast removed 5 weeks ago today. The doctors are really pleased with his progress and that his walking in shoes is so great that you wouldn't know he had, had an op 12 weeks ago! They watched Oscar walk, run and doing heels and toes (This is the first time Oscar has done heels or toes since pre op) and tested the flexibility of his foot. They where really pleased and say he is now able to run, ride his bike, swimming, P.E, basically any activity bar, bouncy castle, trampoline and jumping off things. Oscar is ver pleased and cant wait to ride his bike when he gets home. We know do not have to see the doctors again for 3 months and to start nightly heels and toes practice again. We practised heels and toes tonight and i couldn't believe how much more flexibility Oscar has in his right foot, it actually clears the floor with ease. Quite hard to photograph, picture above! Really pleased for Oscar he has been so brave over the past few months and so far its all been worth it.
