Check up June 17...

Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London.
5th June 2017

Oscar had his check up today after his last appointment where they where concerned about the bump on the top of his foot under his scar. After taking a look at his foot they where happy with is bump and made the decision that an ultra sound would not be needed. His foot has great motion, flexibility and strength.

Oscar was now been fitted with his new splint, which he is only to wear during school hours no need to keep on after school. Just to keep him from going wild when i'm not around and no one to keep an eye on his actions at play time!

Oscar was very pleased with his splint colour choice. We left the appointment happy and in need of buying some new shoes to fit over the splint.

We tried a few shops to find well fitting shoes to go over the splint, but struggled. We ended up going back to clarks and buying one shoe in his regular size and the other in the next shoe size up which was a success! Clarks have a scheme where you can buy a pair of shoes in two different sizes, so instead of paying for two pairs of shoes i paid for one and a half pairs, a bit cheaper.
