Great progress...
3rd January 2018 Today we had Oscar's 6 monthly checkup with Denise at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London. Denise was please with the improvements of his right club foot today. His heal is now in neutral in standing and he is achieving a heel strike during walking. He is still a little weak in the calf and when he rises onto tiptoes he dips a little on the rightsize. Oscar has been given some calf strengthening exercises, where he needs to raise onto tip toes slowly up and down on the right foot. Denise was again pleased with his range of motion and that he has got good Everton function and happy he can now whilst heal walking lift his lateral border of his right foot off the floor, which is great. We don't need to go back for a further 6 months, when we will meet again with Denise and also Alison the consultant who operated on Oscar for his tendon transfer.
